The Swine Research Centre is located in Boxmeer, the Netherlands. It is a well-established institute with about 15 employees (9 researchers) with competencies in animal nutrition, animal health, feed technology, meat processing, food safety and pork value chain optimisation. The SRC has excellent facilities for studies with sows, piglets and growing pigs. Feed technology research is carried out at a specialised pilot feed plant and Nutreco laboratories.
