Several Nutreco plants are dedicated to the production of Hendrix protein concentrates. Hendrix protein concentrates supplement local available raw materials (cereals and others) with necessary proteins, amino acids, vitamin & mineral premixes and feed additives. Hendrix protein concentrates are formulated to balance the final diet for consistent results of all animal species.

The mixing process is very important for the ideal performance of the feed.

Hendrix protein concentrates are easy to use and do not require sophisticated grinding or mixing equipment.

Based of 75 years of experience and research, our nutritional department will advice our customers on the quality of their local raw materials and the required specifications of the concentrates. Our nutritionists will calculate the optimal feed formula of the feed for their animals.

It is possible to select from a wide range of Hendrix protein concentrates for all types of livestock. Our nutritionists help farmers with specific mixing direction, calculating the optimal feed formula, to create the right proportion with cost efficient feeds for the best animal performance.

All our Hendrix production units are quality certified by for instance HACP, ISO, GMP⁺. Only the very best in raw materials are used and we rigorously control every aspect of production and supply.

Mixing directions

Starter feeds:        

We advice to use pre-starter feed (e.g. young animal feeds) and special Hendrix protein concentrates designed for tasty and highly digestible feeds, resulting in better health and weight gain.

Grower feeds:

Hendrix concentrates should be used with cereals, cereal by-products and proteins of vegetable origin to give a well-balanced grower diet.

Finisher feeds:

Hendrix concentrates should be used with more cereals and less soybean meal than the grower feed. The grinded cereals and soybean meal should be thoroughly mixed with the concentrates.

The inclusion rate of Hendrix protein concentrates usually is 5%, 10% or 15% in the final feed, but will be developed according to our customer’s requirement.
